BEE KEEPING

Bee keeping is one of the projects that were initially adopted by RWECO-TRUST in the years 2006 and it is among the major source of income of the organization. We have trained 120 other bee keeping groups across Kasese district. We have established 2 bee apiaries one in Nsenyi-Kisinga and another one is in Kamuruli-Kiburara also in Kisinga Sub County adjacent to Queen Elizabeth Nation Park. COCOA GROWING PROJECT

Kasangwahu conservation as a fighting tool for environmental conservation adopted cocoa growing as a poverty eradication program among the people of Bukonzo County and also as one way to conserve the environment. Cocoa is a now one of the major cash crops grown in Kasese.

COMMUNITY ECO-TOURISM PROJECT

This service based project will operate in the ecotourism industry. Our mission is to conserve and preserve nature by providing a platform for outdoor enthusiasts/ tourists to contribute to community development while enjoying nature and our vision is to create a world where local communities benefit socio-economically from fringing natural resources.

CHIMPANZEE CONSERVATION PROJECT

Building a Better Future for Endangered Chimpanzee.

Great apes and gibbons deserve to live undisturbed and on their own terms across their natural ranges, from the tropical belt of Rwenzori mountains. But human activities are rapidly putting pressure on their very survival. We are aiming to working to address threats to chimps, apes, alongside sanctuaries and rescue and rehabilitation centers ensuring high-quality care for chimps in captivity.

BIRDING SANCTUARY PROJECT
